*General*:
God's presence to be with OCF, that we'll only go where He goes God's favor and providence upon OCF MelbUni Leaders to be filled with wisdom and passion and to increase in initiative, that they will persevere in God's strength Perseverance, conviction and passion for OCFers That OCF will have a heart to know God. Excitement and enthusiasm for a new year ahead
*Specific ministries: *
*Worship Min*- *For an abundance of resources (a bit short of manpower/musicians for the first sem)*
*Cell Min* - *that the Cell Reshuffling would be an opportunity for new bonds and relationships to form, and not an obstacle, and that cell groups would really take the initiative to bond with one another and lasting, meaningful, genuine relationships to be borne out of the new cells*
*Outreach- for the upcoming Orientation that we would reach out to everyone, not just Singaporeans and Malaysians*
*Prayer: for God to raise up leaders with a heart for + understanding of prayer. (abit short of leaders for sem 2) and for OCFers to be convicted to pray.*

hope the year's getting off to a good start for everybody!=)
in His love,
OCF MelbUni=)

OCF Clayton Prayer Requests Feb 2010
*OCF Clayton's Prayer Requests (Feb 2010)*
Hey WA & Vic peoples,
The start of Feb is here and so it's time to get the ball rolling with our prayers, lifting them up to the Lord because we believe that He hears our prayers yes?
- For the committee as we seek God on the *theme for 2010* - need His wisdom and guidance for direction. May we be united in one spirit under one Lord.
- For Claytonites to really *yearn for God*. Sometimes without (regular) OCF during the holidays, we tend to be distracted, "drift" a bit and lose focus. Instead of only getting "back on track" when they're back in Australia, we want them to start *anticipating, getting excited for the things God is going to do* in the year ahead, even before they return.
Shall we also remember *EXCO* in our prayers? Many times we don't see what's going on behind-the-scenes so it can be easy to forget what our leaders are going through. But there really is so much to be done, and 1 Tim 2 encourages us to pray for our leaders. Let's pray for God's wisdom and strength for them, and that they will be leaders who lead by example - HUP – with Humility, Unity and Perseverance, as shared by Cheryl Weng during AGM09.
Just something I read earlier today from 1 John 5:14-15 *"This is the confidence we have in approaching God; that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him."*
Look forward to hearing from us all! God bless.
:) In His love,
OCF Clayton

Prayer requests..
Hello all! How's your holidays thus far?
Hope you guys are having fun. I'm sure you are =) Well, while you're busy having fun, I would like to encourage all of you to take this opportunity to bond with each other and also to get to know our dear father in heaven better.
Anyhoo, here are a few prayer points that I would like all of you to keep in mind:
1. The terrorist situation in Mumbai
2. OCF Convention (starts this coming Monday!)
3. For those who will be traveling back to their own country
4. For those who will still be in Perth
5. For the ones who are dreading their results (For them to pass!)
6. For those who will be going for the mission trip
7. LC (theme finalization)
8. Chih as she sits for her interview this December
Free free to add any other prayer requests in the comments section (if you have any). I've already opened it up so that those who do not have any blog accounts could leave a comment too. That's all folks.. Take care!
